Studelbek is an impressively large map to play around in, one of the largest I’ve seen in a game aimed at children. The open world of Strudelbek is broken down into 3 areas – A forest with a swap and a village, a city are and a snow covered ski-resort. The story is as deep as an episode of the animated show with a McGuffin to set the scene and a structure which is constantly drip feeding new powers to use in a game world that accommodates them.
The overarching narrative in Power Trip is much more cohesive than that of the 2017 game as there’s one main villain and a new series of minions to fight rather than a collection of villains that Ben has to face off against. Ben (& Kevin) set out to help the people of the region while reclaiming the alien transformations that they’ve had stolen in order to stop Hex’s plan. These rocks will give him power over the physical realm and he must be stopped.
Hex then causes chaos all over Strudelbek by spawning monsters and upsetting the locals by messing when their lives as he searches for 4 ancient crystals. This plan uses the power of the void to lock Ben (and Kevin) out of their Omnitrix (and Antitrix) which prevents them from transforming into their aliens counterparts. For me I believe ultimate alien is a great way of at least keeping the consistency of a great franchise. In Ben 10: Power Trip, team Ben are taking a vacation in the Rust Bucket in a European region called Strudelbek when the magician Hex puts an evil plan into action. They also eradicated that silly timer because most of the plot arcs brought powerful and demanding villains such as Eon, Aggregor, Ultimate Kevin, and many others. Problem is that there are just few ultimate aliens. But now Ben fights and puts his all into it, causing destruction and shockwaves that his powerful aliens must deliver.įor the Ultimate Aliens, they were the superb factor of the show.
Most of his fight scenes in the previous enabled villains victorious with plot armor since it was a show meant for the younger. Ultimate Alien improved the battle scenes to an overpowered level which for so long Ben deserved. This meant that even though we wanted AF to end the Ben 10 franchise, we were sucked into a great new arc that changed our minds in UA. Ultimate Alien begun with a bang! The first episode fed straight into one of the franchise's biggest and wildest arc Agreggor. Everything was perfect and it could have ended there but nope, another successor emerged. Ben's love interest was deeply invested in too. Unique villains were introduced into the system and a bigger cast emerged. But guess what it did and proved us all wrong.Īlien Force came with a new arc which saw our characters mature. We all believed that a kids show could not transition into a darker theme. The original was great and went well and could have ended there perfectly. The original Ben 10 won the heart of many kids because it introduced a new unique way of writing super hero stories just like how some Japanese mangas do not feel shounen at all, in the case of kimetsu no yaiba, attack on Titan etc.
